Our Story
A glimpse into our history as one of the oldest alpine huts in South Tyrol
Up until 2014, the cows were tended and milked and butter was made on the alpine pasture during the summer. That same year, however, the hut was converted into a small mountain inn. Since then the Gostner family — in particular Michael and his wife Natalie, together with their three children Josef, Maria and Anna — have looked after the well-being of their guests both summer and winter and worked the land on the pasture. The Huberhof itself is farmed by the family's brothers, while the Huber Schwaige is in the care of Michael and his family.
