A Glimpse into Our History as One of South Tyrol's Oldest Alpine Farms
Until 2014, cows were herded, milked, and butter was produced on the alpine pasture during the summer months. However, in the same year, the alpine pasture was converted into a small alpine restaurant. Since then, the Gostner family, particularly Michael and his wife Natalie, along with their three children Josef, Maria, and Anna, have taken care of the guests’ culinary needs both in summer and winter while also managing the farm on the pasture. The Huberhof itself is run by Michael's brothers, while the Huber Schwaige is under the care of Michael and his family.
